Zoie> We had our ultrasound about six weeks ago and found out we're having a
girl. I actually came home and cried...I had my heart set for some reason on a
boy. Then I cried some more because my pregnant addled brain was worried that
somehow she'd KNOW that I was crying bc she wasn't a boy. When you were
thinking about pink and dresses, I was thinking about blue and baseball gloves.
(Yeah, I know girls can play baseball too...)
In fact, that's what's brought me around to being really glad it's a girl,
because I now have the opportunity to raise my daughter the way my parents
raised me, to be a tomboy and not prissy and love sports and be generally cool.
Heh. I'm sure your older boys are generally cool, and this one will be
generally cool too. :) It really is true, I guess, after the initial
disappointment, that what really matters is that the baby (and the mommy) are
healthy and happy. The rest, well, we'll just have to adjust those daydreams!
