Artemis:
 posterior isn't a complication...just a variation.  And there are absolutely
reasons that a baby may remain and even be born posterior (happens all the
time) such as pelvic shapes, lifestyle (positions the mother may assume while
pregnant can effect the position of the baby while inside)...any number of
things.  With a posterior position, it's still the crown that's presenting,
though.....
