 the best way to dry your milk up is slowly....just keep cutting back, exactly
as you are doing.
 (as a side note...why do you have so much milk in your freezer to give away?
why not give it to your kid??)

 As for the prescription that you heard about...I don't know ANYONE who will
give a prescription medication just to dry up your milk supply.  We used to
give Bromocriptine (brand name "Parlodel")...but the side effects were so many
and so frequent that it's just too dangerous - specifically when other options
are available.  Only time I've seen someone recently who was "allowed" a
prescription was after her baby died and she was having issues and was
explained the risks...

 there are things you can do to speed the process, though...like Sage and
Parsley...that are known to help dry up the milk.  Crushed cabbage leaves can
help as well, as there is an enzyme in the veins that can help with engorgement
and supply..
