 if you were at 28 weeks..or even 32 weeks..I'd be worried.
 as for it being from an exam FOUR DAYS ago..not likely.

 what you are describing sounds a lot more like very early labor to me..and I'm
surprised the midwife was so fast to brush you off.  I wouldn't be worried if
it was me...I'd be happy.  =)
